## Notes

**Head of Hei** is the quest-locked A-tier ability with the **second-highest single-button damage in the game** (`g` = 25×64 = 1600, behind only Spin's 1881). Despite its A-tier placement in third-party tier lists, Discord-side Foong data shows it out-damaging every S-tier except Spin on raw `g`-skill output.

## Canonical IP attribution — IMPORTANT clarification

There are **two distinct things** sharing the "Hei" name in this game, which third-party aggregators routinely conflate:

1. **The redeemable code `HEADOFHEI`** — themed around *Darker than Black*'s protagonist Hei (per code-page metadata)
2. **The ability Head of Hei** — internally referred to as **Naoya Zen'in** from *Jujutsu Kaisen*, per the Discord `❔ faq` channel _Best Traits on Abilities_ thread by Rolasyum (2026-05-10): "Head of Hei / Naoya"

The ability's design — high single-target burst, the *Cursed Speech* / *Projection Sorcery* aesthetic — is a Naoya reference, not a Darker than Black reference. The "Hei" in the ability name appears to be a separate naming branch.
